WHY WE EXIST
All generations in Africa want a better future, without compromising the present. Intergenerational Dialogue ZW focuses on the need to re-balance the democratic life of young people, the work, pension and economic life of all people, the service provision for those at the margins of society and all through the prism of sustainable development and fulfilling the needs of today without compromising the potential of tomorrow. Many of the concerns of the old and young are similar but that caution should be made to allow autonomy for flourish within the context of cross generational solidarity in all avenues of society. We are Zimbabwe’s only platform convened by young people that aims to debate, discuss and analyze intergenerational public policy issues converging the youth, business community, policy makers, government, older generations, international organizations, civil society and the diplomatic community this is all done in full glare of the African Union Agenda20 63, the government of Zimbabwe’s Vision 2023 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
